The Design Process

1. Design Consultation | Development 

I begin the design process with a complimentary consultation in your home or in my Ethan Allen studio. We will gather all preliminary information regarding your design needs: budget, measurements, photos, existing pieces, and any design inspiration you may have. (Houzz, Pinterest, Instagram and shelter magazines are an excellent resources) Products specified for purchase will be exclusive to Ethan Allen. 

2. Design Presentation

As a stylist and designer for Ethan Allen, I work on many different kinds of projects; from space planning and window coverings to accessories and paint selection. Often, I guide clients on specifying products while in the building process. I will present a proposal, complete with concept board and sample finishes, in order to help you see the vision and design solutions for your space. 

3. Design Coordination | Installation 

After selecting the design option best suited for your space, I will keep you informed on your order progress, assist in coordinating delivery and depending on the scope of your project, perform an in-person installation.
